Zezwolenie typ B is a work permit for a foreigner serving on the management board of a Polish company: board member, president of the board (prezes), proxy (prokurent), or general partner. It's required if, over 12 months, you perform this role for more than 6 months in total. The requirements apply to the company itself — we help meet them and obtain the permit.

Type A is for a foreigner working under a contract with a Polish employer in an ordinary role. If you're a board member but receive remuneration solely on the basis of a shareholders' resolution (uchwała wspólników), without an umowa o pracę or other civil-law contract — you don't need a Type B permit. It's also unnecessary if you spend less than 6 months in total in Poland over 12. We verify this precisely at the consultation.
